MINESTRY PROGRAMS
At Community Youth Ministries we believe a strong spiritual foundation is essential to living a rewarding life. Through RiverKids and Catalyst, our Bible-based campus ministry programs, we introduce students to a personal understanding of God while encouraging those already on their faith journey to deepen and grow in their relationship with God and others.
RiverKids and Catalyst we meet students where they’re at in their faith journey. We patiently, lovingly and intentionally demonstrate God’s love to them. We care about what they care about and show genuine interest in them. We desire to make them feel seen and valued by our staff and God.
We are grateful for and celebrate the opportunity to bring the message of the Gospel to elementary and middle schools in our community.
RiverKids and Catalyst use a non-denominational, biblical, engaging and experiential curriculum. Our weekly lessons engage all the senses and recapture the wandering attention through colorful images, lively music and well produced videos. We also provide our students the opportunity to understand and remember biblical truths through object lessons and games. We have moments of discussion, giving kids an opportunity to talk about what they’re learning and what they’re going through. Most importantly, we dedicate time for quiet reflection. This is a moment for the kids to sit quietly, write, think and pray.

RiverKids
At RiverKids we teach engaging and memorable Bible lessons every week! We create a fun, safe and welcoming environment where kids can grow their faith. In efforts to continue the conversation at home, we provide regular communication with parents with monthly devotionals and conversation-starter handouts that align with the weekly lessons.

Catalyst
At Catalyst, middle schoolers get to hear the message of Jesus through Bible stories, relatable topics, fun activities, prayer, and community. Students will get to fellowship with each other, learn about the Bible through stories, and have group discussions about relatable topics. In Catalyst, we meet the students where they are in their spiritual journeys and continue to give them the opportunity to have a relationship with God.
