 Administrative Team 

Don Reimer, Ed.D.

CEO
Gallup Certified Strength Coach

Don has held several positions at CYM since his hiring as After-School Program Director in 2003, including HR Manager, COO, and his current role as CEO. Previous to working at CYM, Don worked in leadership roles at area churches, and in business management in the Agriculture industry. In addition, he has served as an adjunct faculty member at Fresno Pacific University. Don has earned a BA in Biology, a M.Div. (Pastoral Ministries) and MA (Leadership and Organizational Studies) from Fresno Pacific University, and a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from UC Davis/CSU Fresno. 

Michael Mosley

Finance Manager

We welcome Mike to the

CYM administrative team!  Mike

joins CYM with many years

of experience in the finance

field. Originally from New Orleans,

Baton Rouge and was working in Louisiana during the hurricaineKatrina Clean-up.  He earned a Bachelor's in business administration

from Texas Southern University

and a Master of Arts

in Organizational Management from Univeristy of Phoenix.  

He has served as

an adjunt faculty member at

University of Phoenix

Francisco Estrada

 P.I.E. Instructor / Counselor

Francisco has worked for CYM since 2011. During this time he has worked as a paraeducator in the After School Programs at Jefferson and as an instructor in the Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Program. Francisco graduated from CSU, Fresno with BA in Criminology and is pursuing a Master's in Counseling and PPS credential from CSUF. Francisco is married and has two children. 

Sonya began working for CYM in September 2017. She brings with her over 20 years of administrative work experience in a variety of industries. Her role with CYM includes HR Administrator, IIPP & Safety compliance, in addition to other administrative duties in her support to the office staff at CYM. She earned a BA in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. Sonya is active in her home church and enjoys reading, and spending time with family. 

We welcome Rebecca into this
new role; however she is not new
to CYM. She began with us
back in August 2015 and still
works as a facilitator for our
Teen Moms program.  She has enjoyed this program immensely
and is now looking forward

to expanding her role with

CYM as our Administrative Assistant. 

She will be support staff to both

the Finance Department and
HR departments.

Juan Alvarado

Director of After School Programs 
Gallup Certified Strength Coach

Juan joined the CYM team in 2008 as Site Lead at Grant Middle School. Subsequent to that role he became Site Lead at Navelencia Middle School where he and his team developed a program that continues to thrive. In 2013 Juan was hired has ASP Coordinator and in 2016 was promoted to Director of ASP's. Prior to working at CYM, Juan served ten years in the U.S Army in Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi  Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He also worked as a Police Officer for Fresno PD.

Ruben Alvarez, MS, PPS

Director of Prevention & Intervention Education 

Ruben has been with CYM since 2011, holding a variety of roles. He has worked for McCord ASP as a literacy coordinator, Riverview ASP, numerous summer prevention programs, a group counselor, and now his current role Prevention & Intervention Program director. Ruben Graduated with a BA in Liberal studies with an emphasis in mathematics and received his masters in counseling with a PPS credential from CSUF.
